Toronto, May 29, 2015 – Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (Boost) is pleased to announce that its major fundraising event of the year – The Butterfly Ball® – was a tremendous success, raising a record $425,000. The sold out evening took place last night at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto with 430 guests in attendance.

“Our thanks to all the sponsors and guests,” said Karyn Kennedy, Executive Director of Boost, “and we are so grateful for the work of Chair Daniela De Gasperis and her committee which resulted in such a successful evening.”

“Boost is an extraordinary organization helping children who need love and support at such a difficult time of their lives and it is an honor to work on their behalf” said Daniela De Gasperis.

Bidding in the live auction that included a trip to London Fashion Week this September, and a trip to the Master Golf tournament in Augusta next spring, was brisk. Singer Sean Jones and saxophone player Miles Raine entertained the guests to tremendous applause and BELLOSOUND provided music after dinner that kept guests on the dance floor. Guests left with a $100 gift certificate from Davids and a gift bag of skin care products from DLK on Avenue.
